How many songs fit into a set

“How many wedding bands london songs can be played in a  set?” is a common inquiry from our customers. We have been able to arrive at a rough number to assist our clients in selecting sufficient favorites for the band to include on the night, despite the fact that there is no definitive answer to this question. If a song is between three and four minutes long, there will be 15-20 songs on each hourly set. There would be approximately 10-15 songs per set if your band performed two 45-minute sets.

Obviously, if your wedding is really shaking the walls and the band is in the zone, they might play for a little longer, giving each band member extended solos on certain songs. Anything could happen if your guests keep the dance floor full and the drinks flowing; if you’re lucky, you might even get an encore!

What are the playing times of other musicians

On our website for hire, we represent a variety of well-known wedding musicians. Since each of them offers slightly different packages, we recommend contacting them directly to discuss further if you are interested in a particular act.

However, the most popular wedding packages offered by acoustic acts, pianists, harpists, and string ensembles are listed below as a rough guide.

During the drinks reception, how long do wedding musicians perform? Acoustic guitarists, pairs, triplets and past will generally offer 2 x 45 or 2 x hour long sets (with the choice of separating the last option into 3 x brief sets). They arrive an hour before the performance because they don’t take as long to set up (roughly 20-30 minutes), and they perform their live sets in sets of two 45-minute sets that last two hours each or three 40-minute sets that last three hours each.

However, you might find that the price goes up if you want them to play a set at the drinks reception and another set at the wedding breakfast. This is on the grounds that they will be nearby for longer and should expand this time span to oblige your timetable for example 2 x brief sets more than a 5 hour time span.

wedding acoustic demonstrations

Piano players, Harpists and other Independent Artists: Our wedding soloists offer comparative bundles to both our acoustic demonstrations and our string outfits. Harpists and musicians are great for wedding services and will frequently advance bundles that incorporate some, while possibly not all, of the accompanying; Pre-Ceremony performance (between 20 and 30 minutes), the ceremony (about an hour), and the drinks reception or wedding breakfast (two sets of 45 minutes each, lasting two hours).

Additionally, you’ll find that some musicians will even provide a package that includes the entire wedding. These would be included in this: A pre-ceremony performance, a ceremony performance, a drinks reception, a wedding breakfast, an evening reception, and DJ service until midnight are all included. String Ensembles Our string ensembles and musicians typically charge by the hour, so most quotes will typically include pricing for bookings lasting one, two, or three hours. To be clear, the time of arrival and set-up are not included, and we request that all musicians arrive one hour prior to the performance.

The majority of musicians will typically play straight through for bookings lasting between one and two hours, but for bookings lasting longer than that, they will require rest breaks of anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes. Musicians will require a lunch break of 30 to 40 minutes for bookings exceeding three hours; therefore, please discuss this further prior to booking to understand their requirements.
